pot of gold

Pot of Gold

Dear Readers,

High rates of unemployment make us think about alternatives to start a new career or add value our to our current set of skills. Learn a second language is definitely a smart step toward making a difference in the market place. What should you do in other to take that step?

1) Find a program which you feel comfortable with. Online or live classes prove to be more effective than cds and software which don’t acess your knowledge or answer real life questions. There’s nothing better than learning with a teacher!
2)Cost: Classes range from $ 15.00 to $ 500.00 a month. Do your homework and make sure you are not getting in debt to learn a new language; there are many affordable programs such as ours which will give you the basic knowledge at an affordable rate.
3)Marketing your skills: you should market your new acquired skills at social networks and interviews, showing the prospective employers that you have acquired not only foreign language skills, but knowledge of foreign markets, possibility of taking the company to a new venture or basically offering an alternative to the company to rely on interpreters all the time!

So, use this blog as an inspiration to reach your “pot of gold”

Good luck!

Dear Readers,

This is the greatest dilema that prospective clients have when they come to have their websites, sales page, voice over their materials and others done is: What now? What if somebody calls? Nobody on my staff speaks Spanish…..
Well, if you own a small or internet based business, there are some solutions:

1) Hire a service which many companies like ours provide, which is a voice mail system in Spanish and our operator will retrieve messages throghout the day and return calls…..how about the next step, they ask?
A teleconference, an effective sales page will close the deal.

2)Have your current staff members trained by an online sales specialist, service also offered by our company

3) Hire a bilingual staff member through diversity website or others which offer bilingual prospects.

The bottom line is get started, work on a plan with your language consultant and move towards opening the doors to this powerful market!

We would like to see you take the first step!

Dear Readers,

One more year is ending and I decided to share some of my favorite holiday songs in Portuguese. Please see attached Bate o Sino, the link to video on youtube.

Jingle Bells- Bate o Sino
Bate o sino pequenino, sino de Belém
Já nasceu o Deus Menino para o nosso bem
Paz na Terra pede o sino alegre a cantar
Abençoe o Deus Menino este nosso lar

Hoje a noite é bela, vamos à capela

I use this song, show the video and bring a bell coloring page, when I teach this song to children.
Espero que gostem! I hope you enjoy it!

Feliz Natal!
